Cast-A-Way Agency will be conducting online interviews of 2nd Engineers and Engine Ratings for a major cruise line.

2nd Engineers

Responsible for safety, pollution prevention, engine room management, operation and maintenance of machinery, etc. They have to be trained at accredited maritime or educational institutions.

Second engineers need to have their unlimited EOOW (Engineer Officer of the Watch) License. They do not share a cabin on board, flights are covered to and from the ship, and they will be reimbursed for their C1D visa. They will need ENG1 medical and all required certificates.

ENG1 medical, up-to-date STCW certificates and seaman’s books are required from all candidates. The rotations are generally 3 months on, and 3 months off.

Engine Ratings

Ratings need to have STCW certificates issued by IMO whitelisted countries.
