Virtual Career Fair for Ventilation/HVAC Officers

Carnival UK is delighted to invite you to participate in our upcoming virtual career fair for Ventilation/HVAC Officers.

The role involves managing ship ventilation, AC systems, and refrigeration to ensure safety and efficiency on luxury ships. Respond promptly to defects, prioritize and supervise work in compliance with safety regulations. Support the Electro-Technical department in asset management planning and development of the ventilation team.

Ideal candidates have relevant refrigeration qualifications, industry experience, and strong communication skills. While cruise ship experience is desirable, we prioritize attitude and strengths over competencies. Your focus on customer service, problem-solving skills, and hands-on approach are crucial.

Basic Requirements:

• Relevant Refrigeration Qualification - City and Guilds or NVQ3 (desirable)
• Solid proven experience in the refrigeration industry (desirable)
• Ventilation experience (desirable)
• Proficient in written and spoken English, passed Marlins English Test of Proficiency (if applicable)
• Valid ENG1 medical certificate or equivalent for each voyage
