Virtual Career Fair for Engineers & Technical Staff

Carnival Maritime GmbH, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation serving the brands of AIDA Cruises and Costa Crociere as their marine service unit, cordially invites you to participate in our upcoming virtual career fair for Engineers & Technical Staff.

We are currently seeking candidates for the following positions:

• HVAC Engineers
• Electricians
• Assistant Electricians
• Second Engineers

Requirements:

For HVAC Engineers:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or similar with main subjects focusing on Refrigeration/Ventilation Mechanic
• Experience: you have several years of professional experience with HVAC industrial and central cooling systems, on cruise ships will be a plus
• Skills: you have an excellent understanding of operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting regarding the relevant systems and we require you to be F-Gas certified
• Qualities: Team player, guest-oriented, and motivated to learn new technologies
• Communication: your communication skills, with fluency in English, are essential for effectively interacting with colleagues onboard
• CoP III/5 for NON-EU candidates
• CoP III/5 or 24 months of navigation for EU candidates

For Electricians & Assistant Electricians:

• Education: Sc in Electronic or Electrical Field and Industrial Automation. Certified Electrician in his/her own country is a plus.
• Experience: At least 2 years’ experience as electrician on board vessel and 2 years’ experience on shore in industrial plant in maintenance service.
• Skills: Holding COP III/7 per STCW is mandatory
• Communication: Good English language skills

For Second Engineers:

• Education: you hold a national second engineer certificate of competency (COC III/2 unlimited) per STCW regulations;
• Experience: you have at least 2 contracts in a similar position on board; on Cruise vessels will be a plus;
• Communication: you have proficient English communication skills;
• Qualities: display a guest and service-oriented mindset, with the ability to lead and motivate teams. Show motivation and a strong willingness to grow professionally.
